VALENTINE’S DAY

It is on the day of February 14, everybody in this world celebrate LOVERS DAY. It is one of the gifted days for the lovers. On this day the lovers meet together, share their joys, exchange gifts, go for movies, outings, etc. because the day is beautifully celebrated for the lovers as ‘Valentine’s Day’ or ‘Lovers Day’.

The history behind the Valentine’s Day or Lovers Day is, there was a priest named Valentine who served in Rome during the third century. When Emperor Claudius II decided that single men are better soldiers than the persons with their wives and families, he stopped marriages for young men of his soldiers. So realizing this Valentine continued to perform marriages for young lovers and couples in secret. When Claudius discovered Valentine’s actions, he decided to put him in the jail and to death.  So that day is celebrated as ‘Valentine’s Day’ or ‘Lovers Day’.

Somebody says Valentine fell in love with a young girl of the jailor itself. So before his death, it is suspected that he wrote a letter to her, which he signed as ‘From your Valentine’. So it is the day celebrated as Valentine’s Day.

Whatever may be the reasons, it is very good to have a day to all the lovers to celebrate as Lovers day. So enjoy this day with all your blossoming hearts, feelings, and pure love. We wish all of you to have a happy valentine’s day.
