Recipe – The pea and barley soup

The nutritious pea and barely soup can be done by the following way.
Ingredients

Lemon juice: 20 ml
Salt: 10 gm Pepper: 5 gm
Parsley: 10gm
Thyme: 10 gm Barely: 100 gm
Carrot: 80 gm Celery: 2 stalks
Method
Deep-fry chopped onions and carrots along with thyme and parsley until the onions become translucent. Then add green peas and fry for a while.
To the above mixture add chicken broth, seasonings, lemonjuice and sugar. Boil for a minute, then reduce the heat and simmer until peas are tender. Meanwhile in another pot sauté chopped celery and add barely to it.
Add 6 cups of water to the vessel. Then wait for a minute to boil. Then reduce heat and simmer it all until most of the water gets absorbed in vessel. Once it comes thickens then puree the peas in a mixer into a smooth paste.
Once completed then remove it from heat then cover it and keep this recipe for 15 minutes under the room temperature before serving.
