Nokia Launches New Touch Screen Mobile-N97

Nokia unveiled the new and smarter phone N97 Touch Screen on 5th June 2009 at New Delhi on Thursday.
It is specially designed for the benefit of Internet-savvy consumers. This Symbian-Based smart phone features 3.5″ large touch screen display with a full QWERTY keyboard, multiple sensors, supported 48 GB storage memory including 32 GB internal memory, processing power and connection speeds, which lets people to form an individual internet and share the “Social Location”.
It has 5 Mega pixel camera, 3.5mm headset jack, microUSB port, 1500mAh battery. It offers 37 hours of uninterrupted music playback and or four and a half hours continues video playback.
All applications for Nokia 5800 xpress music will work with Nokia N97. It can play the music in formats such as MP3/WMA/WAV/eAAC+/MP4/M4V. It supports SMS, MMS, Email, Push Email and IM messages.

It has powerful Microsoft’s Windows software which does the opponent of Sony Ericsson’s X1 and HTC’s Touch Pro.
Nokia Indian Director and Marketing Mr. Vineet Taneja said From the desktop to the laptop and now to your pocket, Nokia 97 is only one device having Nokia’s Ovi store, a one-stop shop for a catalogue of applications, games, videos, podcasts, productivity tools, internet and location based services.
Nokia N97 lets people to download about a choice of 50 free to download items, which are specially developed for Indian Consumers. Face book, Paramount Pictures and twitter applications are also available in this mobile. The mobile costs are priced to Rs.35, 0000 + Vat Taxes.
