Chennai Combat: The Ultimate Dance Battle Against Cancer

There is a program in chennai’Chennai Combat: The Ultimate Dance Battle Against Cancer’.
The theme for World Cancer Day events, as announced by WHO, all over the world is “Cancer can be prevented too” for the year 2010 and since dance is the language of the young soul, we believe that the message will be loud and clear. The alarming issue is that if no action is taken NOW, 16 million lives will be lost by the year 2050. So it is our humble request that you join us in this innovative awareness campaign for a healthy society.

Chennai Combat, as an event, is a search for the best dance crew in Tamil Nadu. The Genre of the event is purely western with Hip Hop, Pop&Lock, Jazz, Salsa and B-boying. Contestants from all over Tamil Nadu are expected and the Grand Finale is scheduled to happen at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium on the 13thof February, 2010.

A percentage of the profit we generate through the event goes directly to tobacco cessation centres who help the youth from getting the deadly disease.
